This was my first time dining at 410 Bank Street. I was expecting good food. I was expecting ok service. What I did receive was outstanding food and service. I was surprised. My tastebuds could not believe what was happening. This establishment offers French New Orleans cuisine with a Caribbean flair. You can dine inside or outside. Please make reservations. You can BYOB or buy at the restaurant. 410 Bank Street does not disappoint! The staff here are the experts. They mean straight business! I believe the team in the back of the house (kitchen) uses some type of magic. Because the food was on another level. I salute you 410 Bank Street for what you do! Please keep doing what you do. You have a fan for life! If you're ever in the area. GET SOME!!!

Tonight our group of six enjoyed a delicious dinner at 410 Bank Street. We called earlier in the day and made a reservation for 6 people at 6:15. Upon arrival, we were easily seated with no wait time! The atmosphere transferred us down to New Orleans with lush greenery, white twinkle lights and wrought iron accents throughout. Our waitress was lively and very pleasant. Service was excellent! Dishes were served at a perfect pace, allowing us to leisurely enjoy our conversations and glasses of wine. Staff were quick to fill water glasses and remove menus, dirty dishes and silverware. It was restaurant week and we were grateful for the opportunity to try the cuisine. Five of us had the blackened scallops. They were deliciously carmelized and blackened. They left us wanting more. We only wished they were bigger. One person had the tuna appetizer and enjoyed every bite. For entrees 4 enjoyed the seafood gumbo, one had the swordfish and I had the Jamaican steak. The gumbo was a hit, especially the sausage. I tasted my neighbors swordfish. It had a beautiful sweet coconutty taste to it, which as delicious. I was expecting a heavy, cream mushroom sauce, but it was delightful. I would definitely get that next time! My Jamaican steak was cooked to perfection!!! I can't say that enough! The spicy sauce served to the side made my tastebuds weep! Soooo good!!! Soo good that I had to share the experience with other members of my party. I had the key lime pie for dessert and m y husband had the chocolate pecan pie. Both were the perfect ending to a wonderful evening. I like that this restaurant offers a different cuisine. There are a number of pubs and Italian restaurants in Cape May and I am grateful 410 offers something different. Thank you for all of your hard work and for giving us a memorable experience!

My wife and I chose 410 Bank Street for the culinary highlight of a recent weekend getaway to Cape May. The weather didn't cooperate and we walked to the restaurant in a downpour. Upon arrival, our night began looking up. The place is cozy, charming, and romantically lit. Our waiter was excellent, he knew the menu inside and out. I countered the miserable weather with their delicious oyster stew. It was decadently creamy, had delicious oysters, and a real zestiness. I added the scallops appetizer, they were awesome as well, perfectly cooked. For my entree, I enjoyed the hearty gumbo. Great amount of perfectly prepared seafood in a delicious sauce. My wife enjoyed a salad appetizer and an excellent pork chop entree. Great portions!

Everything we had here was absolutely delicious. Lots of surf then turf options. Service was genuinely friendly. It's BYOB or choose from bottles of local Cape May wines. To start we had the blackened scallops (#7) and the beignets (#3) followed by the oyster stew with large oysters in a cream broth that even this oyster adverse writer enjoyed. Rolls are fresh baked and warm, and the butter is sweet with honey. The swordfish was well cooked and covered in a cream sauce. There were some mushrooms but easily picked out if desired. The prime rib was a generous 20 ounces (whoops) and cooked to perfection. We are using the rest for steak and eggs in the morning. We ended our great experience with a slice of cold key lime pie a bit overfull but happy. We sat inside which was nice -a little candle at the table too- but their outside space was lush, green, and beautiful.

Amazing ambiance and fast service! Only complaints are eight of us dinned here for a birthday and five of us were sick all night with stomach issues and five of the six all had an etoufe dish. We would still come back, it was probably just a bad batch. The bread and butter service needs work- just cold white rolls and hard butter- nothing impressive .... and our waiter never offered drinks - we had to ask for them after we ordered food and all dinner never asked us for refills. Maybe they were low on sodas? The ambience was 5 stars though and we would come back.

Top restaurant in Cape May, amazing ambience, really delicious food, unique dining experience a must stop if you're in town for more than a few days I love restaurants that create both a gorgeous, indoor and outdoor ambience. Beautiful grounds at night, when you go inside, there's a large dining room on the main floor with some tables on a balcony overlooking the rest of the restaurant. Just gorgeous inside. We actually sat up on the balcony, and we're very happy. It was a nice place to take and all of the views. They have a very extensive menu, my seafood was smothered, and I delicious being sauce. I remembering while eating this dish, I don't think it could've been better, or remember enjoying every bite so much in a long time. Their salads are also amazing here. This is a very popular spot and many of the locals think it's the best restaurant in town. The way I look at it is if you're looking for a fine dining experience in downtown Cape May I'm not sure it can be beat. It's a little pricey, but most places in Cape May are. But here you're getting top quality food and drink so it's worth the price but wish it was a little less expensive. Highly recommended for a wonderful night out in Cape May.
